Automatic regular donations to Barnardos mean we can guarantee the future of our vital programs and reduce administration costs. In an unpredictable world a regular donation to Barnardos can help us respond to the problems faced by the children we support.
Regular donations can be deducted from your nominated bank account or credit card at a frequency that suits you. You can feel confident that your contributions enable us to respond to the many needs of the community as and when they occur.

Often the lives of the parents of the children we meet have spiralled so far out of control that they have been unable to provide the nurturing home life their kids deserve.
Many parents wish to nurture their children effectively but the trauma of crisis in their own lives prevents them. Domestic violence, mental illness, drugs and alcohol as well as poverty and homelessness affect the lives of many children known to us.
At Barnardos we believe all children deserve a safe and stable environment in which they are able to learn for the future.
Barnardos believes it's possible to break the cycle of neglect. Do you? Please make this moment count!

In 85-90 per cent of violent incidents in the home children are present. In 50 per cent of those cases the children are also abused.1
In 2006 15% of children aged 14 or under lived in jobless families.2 Joblessness is highly likely to result in financial stress, and to create tension and hostility within the family.3 Studies on the effects of unemployment on the family unit have identified relationships between parental joblessness and family conflict, family breakdown and child abuse.4
