Child safety

Child safety is an integral part of most of the services of Barnardos Australia, from issues of physical safety (eg. child car restraint programs), water safety and road safety courses. The major issues of child protection, safety in the home and neighbourhood and safety of children in care are part of our guiding principles and practices. Barnardos works towards increasing the safety of young people affected by drugs and alcohol.
