Barnardos Australia has developed a number of programs designed to strengthen and develop the community.
The critical importance of a child’s environment in its earliest years is documented. By working to address environmental factors (such as poverty, violence, abuse and poor housing) which lead to child maltreatment, Barnardos strengthens communities and supports families in raising their children.
