Fundraising plays a critical role in helping Barnardos Australia improve the welfare of severely disadvantaged children facing neglect, poverty, abuse or homelessness. Without community support, many of our urgently needed programs may have to close their doors to children in need. Whether you organise your own fundraising event or take part in one or our special events you will help fund quality services and programs for vulnerable children in Australia. Every dollar you raise can make a real and permanent difference to a young person’s life.

Holding your own fundraising event is an extremely rewarding experience and a great way to show you care about your community. Whether at home, school or at work there are a number of fun and creative ways you can raise funds, from holding a morning tea or a quiz night, to a gala dinner. To make it really easy for you to start fundraising we have partnered with Everyday Hero so that you can create a fundraising page and starting raising money online right away. You can set a fundraising target and email your fundraising page to all your friends, family and colleages to ask for their support. All donations will be recorded on your page, and each of your supporters will automatically receive a personal thank you and a receipt for tax purposes.

If you don’t wish to fundraise online please register your fundraising event with our fundraising team by downloading our Fundraising Guidelines & Proposal Form. Complete the form and return to us in order to receive our authorisation to fundraise.
