Housing estate work
Bundaleer Child and Family Community Development Project
Operating on site at Bundaleer Housing Estate, the Bundaleer Child and Family Community Development Program focuses upon working with vulnerable children under 12 and their families living on the 240 household estate.
Services offered through the project include:
- breakfast programs
- after school program Childcare - Before & After School /Vacation Care
- referral and information services eg, safety programs for women living on the estates
- parenting skill groups- Family Support - Home Visiting
- literacy programs
- Outreach services provided by other local agencies eg legal and health services
The program uses community work strategies to engage the local community and to identify and meet the needs of the children, young people and their families who live on the estate.
