Barnardros Australia wants to celebrate Foster Care Week.

 

In order to continue providing a safe haven for our most vulnerable children and young people we need to recruit caring, committed individuals who are willing to provide a stable and nurturing home to a child.

Barnardos stresses the importance of finding good foster carers.

Many unhappy traumatised children – from babies to adolescents – require either short term or long term foster care. For some long term foster care children adoption will also be arranged. Carers from many different family types are encourage to talk with us. Support and training are always provided and people with experience of children are particularly encouraged to apply.
