YPPC is famous for putting on some of Sydney’s ‘must not miss’ social events such as the famous Xmas in July Lunch, Sydney Pyjama Party, Sydney Slumber Party, Mad Hatters Derby Day, Spring Break Party and Annual Circus Ball. All events are attended by Sydney's party minded people, celebrities and other enthusiastic participants.
For almost 13 years now, the committee, which is managed by a group of dedicated professional young adults, has supported Barnardos with a commitment to ensuring every event is memorable for all the right charitable reasons.
The YPPC was established in 1988 as a fundraising auxiliary of Barnardos Australia, with the specific goals of raising social awareness and funding through the professional adult demographic aged 25-45.
On September 17th 2011, Sydney’s leading young professionals will converge again for The 2011 Annual Circus Ball, this year held at Luna Park’s Crystal Palace.
This keystone event in Sydney's social calendar promises to be yet another extraordinary night consisting of:
- A full 3 course meal and top shelf beverage package (including sprits!)
- Entertainment from some of the nation’s leading music acts
- Stage and roving performances from the world renowned El Circo
- Full coverage of the Ireland vs Australian Rugby Game from Kick Off
- Unprecedented raffle and auction items
- A massive after party at theloft with courtesy buses
